Chapter Text

There was no such thing as forgiveness in a life coursed by treachery. In a being crowded with falsity and fraud, not one single matter could be saved with the truth.

If beliefs about the people dearest to you, killing their way through life without you owning as much as a clue, lived to be real, she would be the greatest example of it.

She’d be living proof that the myths and tells of lovers hunting at twilight, was more than very. She was factual, even if nothing in her life lived to further from the truth.

And the hunter, seeking for that tale at the late hour, would be drawn and enthralled by the same woman he was meant to slaughter.

Death, darkness, and sin were everything they ever so cursed each other with, even if lust, desire, and thirst were the means they hoped would mend them.

Even if they, at the very end of it, wished to save each other with love as it rose from the ashes of hell, dripping from their blood drenched knives, nothing could.

They were doomed all along, from the start, living and fighting for different causes, defrauding another in a scheme so wicked that death was the only way out, and only one question remained.

Would they raze the world in the urge of ending each other?
